AGSO – Advanced Certificate in Global Securities Operations

The AGSO is designed to provide a career path for operations and administration staff who have already passed the IAQ™ and wish to develop their professional and technical skills as operation specialists in the financial services industry. It provides candidates with a broad understanding of the environment in which their firm operates and is a practical qualification, tailored to reflect current market issues.

The AGSO is achieved by passing two modules:

• Module 1: Global Securities Operations (IAQ™ technical paper)
• Module 2: Advanced Global Securities Operations

Before embarking on the AGSO, it is recommended that delegates have either:

• Completed the IAQ™
• Completed one of the CISI Certificates in Investments
• Hold a qualification recognised by the CISI as equivalent
• Have at least 18 months industry experience at a comparable level
