IAQ™ – Investment Administration Qualification ™
The IAQ™ is an open-entry modular examination approved by the Financial Services Skills Council. It is designed to provide settlement, administration and operations staff with an understanding of the industry, the regulatory environment and their specific area of work.
To gain the IAQ™ you must successfully complete three out of the following units:
- Unit 1 – Introduction to Securities and Investment
- Unit 2 – FSA Regulatory Environment
- Various Technical Units (determined by your role)
You can take any 3 of the above units to achieve the IAQ™ certificate, however the combination of units you need to take will be dependant on your job function. If you are completing the IAQ™ for regulatory purposes, you will need to pass all three modules within 2 years of starting.
Introduction to Investment – The Foundation Qualification
We also offer training towards the Introduction to Investment – one of the CISI’s foundation qualifications. This qualification is the ideal induction for students preparing for a career in finance or for those newly recruited to the industry. The qualification provides delegates with a general understanding of the investment industry and can be taken as a stand alone qualification or as Unit 1 of the full IAQ™ programme.
